Thanks for your comments guys.

If this goes well and I get the feeling that I might be able to sell some of those I might think of making a mold. To make the mold is a lot of work and time consuming so it will have to be sure that I can make me some money on it it.

I will keep on working on this, I have a good feeling that it will look good in the end.

Tonights update.

I started by forming the foam with a saw, knife, file and 40 grid sandpaper.
I had to add some foam so I had to take a long dinner time and wait for it to dry. Then I came back and finished forming it to a shape I like.

Then laid a glass layer over the foam, and went outside to play with my dog while it dried.

After that I broke that thing loose from the car, cleaned up some of the edges and laid glass to the downside that was impossible to do while on the car. So right now it is sitting on a table drying.

As you can see the surface of the fiberglass is quite rough so it will take lot of time grinding and body filling to make it smooth.
Tomorrow I hope that I get the head of the engine back but I will also glass the other side that I could not to while on the car.

That's some nice work. Thanks for posting the process. Look forward to seeing the steps to completion.

Why not just offer haffi a place to crash mid winter for a week or two, Im sure with the long winters up there he might feel inclined to deliver one in person and stay for a week or two! ;)

edit: its snowing sideways here right now in calgary, I think id build one to give to you myself...
