We got into camp about 6:30pm Friday night. Once we got off pavement and hooked up on 600-1 the fog was crazy thick. I was just glad I didn’t lead us off the mountain or off the trail. It ended up clearing up after a couple hours after we had dinner and got a fire started. Once the shine came out, it got a little warmer and we had a great night.

Sat morning was pretty cold, but it was beautiful out and the trees were gorgeous. We packed up and had coffee and then headed to the old firetower up the road. The wind at the top was crazy, but the view was so worth it.

@sandrettorock had to take the kids back to Bham, so he peeled out after we finished up 600-1. The three of us remaining did 600-2 and it has clearly been grated since we did our club ride this past summer. We did end up seeing an HZJ77 at the end of 600-2 where we stopped for lunch. Can’t remember his name, but was a nice guy and we chatted for a while. Thanks again for everyone coming out, we had a great time.

I think we ran 600-2 as I heard them talking on the radios about it being graded. Probably just missed you guys. The 77 hooked up and ran it with our group. Glad you guys had a good trip.
