Much cleaner. And easier for me to get in with my decrepit back instead of stepping over them.

Looks clean... I also would like to do this but I use the step boards to clean whenever I wash the roof of the car... Very important for me

Heh... my 200 didn't have them on when I bought it, I had to hunt down a pair to install. Wife has a messed up leg, she couldn't get in the truck. Will upgrade to BudBuilts eventually.

Very clean look indeed. Sometimes I wonder if the steps are worth having at all.

Looks good. I would do the same if my wife weren’t 5’1”

My wife is 5’4” but doesn’t use them to get in and out. IDK.

I’m happy with the look.

Hmm

I’ll ask her to try not using them but I think I know the answer haha

I’m in 100 percent agreement it looks much cleaner.

Love the look. I often wonder if I could get away without them, but with my two young kids, it's just not happening. I find myself using them way too often myself too, even with a mild 1" lift provided by 33" tires.

My “height challenged “ girlfriend has let me know.....they don’t come off until the step sliders go on.
....I must confess, in combination with standing on the rear tire, I use them for loading the roof rack as well....>.<

Hah, guess I'm not the only one using the tire as a step all the time too

The Mrs would be upset with me if I took the sliders off. And I use them when loading the roof rack.

Ripped mine off after I dented one of them. I hated them anyway, looks so much better without them.

With the running boards off, to access the roof I just use the sill as the step (with the door open). The running boards are too shallow to provide a good step anyway.

Much better.

While you are at it, you can take off the rear mudflaps if you want and trim them flush quickly and easily and it's something I recommend.
Most trucks don't have mudflaps and I see no need for them on mine. It's really a worthless low hanging piece of plastic but thick enough to press into the rear bumper. Looks cleaner trimmed to the contour of the bumper.

You can also take off the aero flaps under the front.

After the lift and tires, the wife definitely needed them, as it added inches to the vehicle. I find they are more dinky/discreet than sliders, on non stock trucks. One plus of having them is they will, with out question, add a lot of life to the bolster of the seat.
