You should bring a lithium ion starter just in case... No fun getting stuck in a overland rig just because your battery/starter is not working.

There are so many of them in Amazon, I'd be curious to have some real world feedback on them.

You see! It’s still alive 3 years later! I’ve seen people swear by them for a one off, save the day kind of situation when your battery is dead. A truck this size will likely drain the thing pretty good off of one jump start though.

I’m leaning towards the Optima red top 37 for the starter position. 800 CCA is great for the MN winters... I am wondering what the correct model and size is for the starting position in a 2001 LC. Anyone know? I see group 35 and 37. I could also do the dual battery install at the same time and throw a yellow top in the vacant cavern where the AHC would be positioned... size and group for that one? Links for purchase??
