I'm hoping you guys can help me with a few things. The FSM and posts here say to disconnect the AHC temp sensor before reading the rear pressure. It's the closest one to the firewall on the pump assembly I read on a post. Am I pointing to the correct connector in the picture below and by the way does it come off easily?

Another issue: I followed the directions in the FSM about reading pressures. Turn engine on, start in N, drop it to low, raise to N, turn off car and read pressures. When I turned the car off to accessory position, it zeroed out the pressures. I tried it again and left engine running and seemed to get numbers in range. Stock vehicle right now, 7.6 front (spec 6.9 +- .5) and 7.0 back with nearly empty tank and sensor still connected (spec 5.6 - 6.7) so it seems I'm a little high. Any reason I can't leave the engine running while getting a reading? Thanks!

I haven't done this in months but it looks right. I think I remember after giggling it off, my fingers hurt. Paddo told me this a few months ago:

It's on the side of the pump assembly, rear most connector with 2 wires, the center connector with 3 wires is your pressure and the most forward connector with the 2 heavier blue and white wires is your pump motor.

I always left the car on when I read pressures. Your suppose to be on level ground with a full tank of gas when you check pressures. I'm never in the car when I cycle through the height to get the pressure. I adjusted my TB and replaced the rear springs and added a spacer to help my rear pressure.

Thanks, I'll look for those wires.
You bring up a good point about sitting in the car. It says no passengers which I took to mean just me in the car. But it may mean no people at all in the car. I don't think the height will adjust with the door open, so you have to hit the up/down button with a long stick or something with the door closed? Does everyone measure with noone at all in the vehicle ?

Don't overthink it. Driver in the car or not gives a small, small difference. You can press the Up-button first and then close the door, if you like. No probs.
Before you conclude anything with regards to the pressures, you have to check heights. If your Normal hight is only half an inch high, you would get readings similar to what you have.
Fwiw: I have never disconnected the pressure sensor when checking pressures, and I think I've gotten reliable numbers.

This is quite a coincidence as we were just discussing this topic with @PADDO yesterday. Gerneral consensus is that you do NOT have to unplug the temperature sensor, but some people have found success (or more accurate pressures) when disconnecting the sensor. See second link below, second page.

Read through these threads when you have sometime on your hands.

Props to PADDO's AHC fluid replacement method!

Mitch's 2003 LX is pretty kitted out with bumpers, winch, sliders, armor, etc so a heavy pig...I think it last weighed in around 6250 lbs w/ a full tank. We check his pressures at oil change intervals and have performed a 1.5" sensor lift, adjusted TBs, added King Coils, 30mm rear coil spacers and AirLift Bags (5 psi unless loaded for an adventure or trailering then 22 psi'ish) and the AHC is within spec. With the system cold or the system warm after a good long drive level in the garage we have not seen a measurable difference in pressures with or without the temp sensor disabled. Only difference noted has been with or without a driver in place with the individual height sensor readings but still no change with pressures. We adjusted the height sensors without a driver so this was to be expected. Rig has 105K miles.
