Whew! We went and checked out he Dirt Riot thingy at the ponds. There was only 8 competitors ( i think) but once it got going it was probably the best format I had seen in this area. I thought the course could have been -edit- shorter or more visible to spectators but hey, you have to start somewhere.. Feel free to post this link, My Daughter did the editing for this video and camera work.. pretty impressive I must say and Dad made her attendance possible..
I hope they pursue events here in the future- maybe on a cooler day though.

Nice vid Alex! Looks like there was some pretty good carnage there. I totally forgot about it otherwise I would have tried to make it out there. I could see that being an addictive and expensive sport! Looks like several of them weren't running lockers in the front which surprised me. They were having all kinds of problems with those rocks.

The smaller dark blue sammi was the Driver's Dad's rig so I heard.. He drove like he wanted to stay in the will..

Its was a very good show. I know most people where expecting a rock crawl, but though the racing was neat. Now we have a year and a little extra monies to get the ponds up to shape Really looking forward to seeing this happen again, and get bigger through the years.
