Do you guys think it would be a big problem tro run 275's in the front and 285's in the back with stock suspension. im getting two new rear tires and the only place in town has 285's and cant get 275's for a week....dont want to have to wait. thanks

DO NOT mix-and-match tires on a full time 4WD vehicle, the 80 series especially.
Run only identical tires with similar tread deapth (avoid mixing new with well worn).

The danger here is locking up the viscous coupler. I'm not sure ANYONE has the 'hard and fast' number that will cause you trouble. A difference of a mm or two probobly won't do any harm, but no-one knows where the cut off point is.

If you are forced to drive it with different sized tires for a week, it can be done, but I'd highly recommend pulling either the front or rear drive shaft (if you have the c-diff lock button) and driving in 2wd for a week.

If you don't have the c-diff lock button you can PM Dan and get one sent to you quickly- and it's pretty cheap insurance against potential issues with the center diff.

Do not do this-you will toast your center differential. To fix, you will have to give Cruiser Dan $2600 of your $.

Just wait and get 4 285/75/16's.

dont worry i didnt do it. i found some 275's in another town and got them on today. thanks anyways
