It's a $10-15 DIY mod. We have a ton of creek crossings here, last weekend I did probably 6-8. I still get small amounts of water contamination in my gear oil, even with the diff breather extension. Can't imagine how much water would get in my diff without it. Pretty cheap insurance, IMO.
