diesel 5 speed parts cruiser

Saw on used vic:

Landcruiser Engine and Parts Sooke, Victoria

They quoted me $800 whole truck or $600 3b and $200 for manual 5 speed.

10 years ago I'd have been all over this... now I don't have the time to build a diesel five speed fj40.

I think I called that one a while back,I was hoping he'd sell me the starter. was tempted to buy it, but decided against the headache( rear axle was out of it or I probably would have.)

if it's the one I was thinking of, he said there was a new clutch for it sitting in the seat...( which damn near made me do it.)

I'd be making sure it was a 5 speed tho, he wasn't really a cruiser guy, and may not be certain.

Did 1981s even come with a 5 speed?

yep, found the email, same guy.

I'd have picked it up if it was easier to get, but no rear axle = pain in the ass.

was a month or so ago I talked to him, so it's been for sale a while.




and no not stock with a 5 speed, which is what makes me wonder

i went and looked at that truck, also has a 60/40 split seat up front which i thought was kinda cool....the guy is def not a cruiserhead....but decent enough
