If your 100 ever smelled like a pee pee diaper what did you do?? I sniffed this vehicle out several times and cannot find a thing that would make it give off an offending odor. The vehicle is clean and all leak areas have been addressed. There are no leaks at the rear light or hatch, the ac is dripping fine through the hose and all carpets are clean and dry. Anyone have an answer to this mystery stink?

Anything "hiding" under the seats? Between the console/seat area? Anything coming from the headliner?

Assuming the source is gone, and the smell remains... the best odor-ridder I found was a bowl of white vinegar. I tried EVERY product on the shelf. Nothing worked (P.O. was a smoker). The whole time, my wife was telling me to use vinegar. I put about a quart of vinegar in a bowl on the passenger floor, closed up the truck, ran the Heat for a while, ran the AC for a while... shut it off, let it sit (closed up) for the rest of the day... Opened it up and smelled like vinegar. But, that smell was gone in 60 seconds. Truck smells great now.

open the hood, lean in, and take a good whiff . If you smell it, hose down the engine block, fan/belts, etc. It's possible a critter got in there for heat and ended up spraying everything down.

I had a dead smell I couldn't find and it ended up being a cat melted to the block...had to pull it out piece by piece. A nasty affair indeed.

And I thought 'pulling the cats' was a performance mod! I guess it's still air quality related anyway... learn something new every day, thanks for the laugh!

THIS. You can also try a diluted vinegar solution and lightly spritz all your carpet/headliner for some localized odor killing/cleaning power. It'll smell like vinegar for a few days then dissipates. Febreeze = worthless :flipoff2:
