I asked this guy to hold it for a couple days to schedule a pre-purchase inspection and asked if he's firm on $26K which he was originally asking....

This is his response: "I'm going to try Bring a Trailer auction over the weekend so I should have the car for at least a week or two. Price is firm and could possibly go up after the auction. Yes purchase inspection is fine. I prefer the weekend though."

I'm new to the forums. Just trying to help my dad sell the car. Multiple people have suggested me to list the vehicle on BaT. My listing price is 26000 obo (or best offer)

Disregard ILoveFJS comment. Take your time and sell it however you’d like.

Sometimes truck lists for sale and people comment it’s overpriced, needs work, offer lowballs and the seller adjusts their price lower with this new information. Think of your situation as the opposite - and the truck you listed is probably worth a bunch more than you realized.

@Luffyvtw Just a heads up, BAT usually is an application process and once accepted, it takes about 2-3 weeks before your vehicle is finally listed. Just a heads up in case this is somewhat time sensitive.

You can also try carsandbids if BAT wait time is long. I am not familiar with neither but I assume carsandbids process time is a bit less.
regardless, that is a great truck and I would have checked it out if not living on the other side of the country.
