From a post elsewhere:
To get to DIAGNOSTIC MODE, do the following:

1. Put your ignition key in "ACC" position
2. Turn your headlights to the OFF position if you have them on AUTO.
3. The Nav should display the Toyota banner and then wait at the disclaimer screen (blah bla bla "I AGREE"). While on this screen, press and hold down the "info" button on the Nav and at the same time flick your head lights on then off three times. Don't do this too quickly.

This screen also indicates that the head unit is capable of taking Blue Tooth and Reverse Camera, both greyed out. I wonder if it is capable of the BT, ie if there are plugs at the back to connect it.
The head unit is made by Fujistu 10.

Just curious, your 05 should have bluetooth and the rear view camera, or at least here in the states the 04 and up LC/LX have them. On a related matter, I had posted on to enter a destination on the nav while in motion.

Edit: Nevermind, I see that you are from Australia with a Sahara model.. is that the Australian version of the LC? Got any pics!

I got in there today, but it's hard to play around without a manual for what to program to do what. I did adjust the bluetooth "voice quality". I think it just changed the starting volume, but it sure was easier to hear today.

In Australia, no Camera and no Blue Tooth, period!! I went to purchase the CD Shop Manuals for the Sahara ($Au580), so that I could wire up a reverse camera. I checked to make sure that it covered those items. Nope! If I want a manual for this stuff I need to get one out of the US. I thought I would be clever and try and buy a CD for a LX470. Nope! They don't sell them to mere mortals. They suggested I try and buy one from the US. I assume that the marketing gurus think that we are lower down the Tree here or maybe we still don't have phones!.

The Sahara's here have as standard, Sat Nav, AHC, leather seats, a moving steering wheel and sun roof. It is principally the AHC that sets it apart from the other LC models.
