Well, we're close enough to the end to start with the spy pics...

This was typical of the issues we discovered after sandblasting:

This is going to be one the nicest 40's around, and I am very honored to have been chosen to restore it.

Damn Brother ... you sure ain't gonna restore none of my Junk ... you put the friggin' steerin' wheel on the wrong side. :flipoff2:

Other than that ... it looks pretty nice. :grinpimp:

Still struggling with the side cowls mounting to the Metaltech fenders. As you can see, there is no provision for mounting the side cowls, so we are figuring out how to fabricate a solution:

Waiting on a few odds-n-ends, need to finish fabricating stuff, lights & wiring & clean-up.

The devil is in the details at this point, but it's really taking shape and we are officially in the home stretch...

Here's how we figured out the best way to fabricate brackets so we could install the blinkers, haven't figured out how to best mount the cowls to the tubes.

90% complete, waiting on Randy Whitt to break free & come finish re-wiring, re-routing and cleaning all the wiring, install longer battery cables, relocate the coil & compressor, wire lights and tidy up all the various other doo-dads that should make the thing mobile.

Looks good. Move steering over.
