All,

For those of you in the DFW metroplex... who is servicing your truck? My 2013 LX570 has some slight seeping on the front shocks and the globes are original. I'm interested in getting a quote for new globes and front/rear shock install.

I’ve had great work done at TLS Auto Specialists in Euless. They did the head gasket amongst a few other things on my GX470.

I've used Davenport Motors in Plano. They are a Toyota/Lexus specific shop. They serviced my AHC system including a pretty significant replacement of several parts, they understand the system which not even all Lexus dealerships do.

I do most things myself but there are two shops that have touched my truck. Davenport and Goodes. I've also heard good things about Dajda's and Frisbee, but can't vouch for them personally.

How involved is the shock replacement? Any reason a few of us can't just descend upon your garage and knock it out?

I'll bring the beer

I think @ExpeditionMan is the one who is supposed to supply the beer in this case. But I'm 100% in on this. The shocks should be no problem, but I'm all in on learning how to do the globes. Let's save him some cash.

I'd enjoy the help! Honestly, I'm not scared of the front shocks or the globes, however after reading this thread the rear end worries me. What are each of your thoughts? I'd likely add the OEM spacer front and rear in anticipation of my front winch bumper and sliders.

I think the important thing is that he rated the rear shock replacement as a 3/10 once he removed the exhaust. IDK about the globes, is there a writeup on that?
