Hi Jim,

Just sent a PayPal payment for the EGR Blockoff Plate for my '78 FJ40. Didn't think I would need it when I ordered the cap & plug set last week, but plans changed. Once again, please ship direct to Noah Baldwin.

Which gasket part number do I need for the blockoff plate?

Thanks!
Chad

Thanks Jim... tracking shows will be here tomorrow!
Quick question for you... Since I am currently not running a belt to the smog pump, if I remove it prior to doing the desmog is there anything detrimental that may happen? Basically, wondering if I pull the pump, can I still drive if I need to without harming anything?

Jim... well PO put on a smaller belt that only runs the WP-ALT-Crank getting rid of PS and AP. Then another belt that runs Crank-CC. So right now I have no belt on the AP or PS, so if I pull the AP and just detach hoses will it cause any issues?

Greg,
Thanks for posting those numbers.

25628-61020 is the gasket to order for the EGR blockoff.

The other number is the gasket between the PCV/EGR plate and the intake manifold. Usually doesn't need replacing.

Just talked to my local Toyota Dealership and had them order me one...Part number has changed to 25628-61060 according to them.

Got the part in today, that was freakin quick. Ordered it yesterday late morning and they called me at noon to let me know it was in.

Anyways, here is the EGR Gasket that is referenced for an FJ60 (mine is a 10/85)

John, your parts are en route to Canada.
Please post up when they arrive, so we know how long it takes for postal Priority to cross the border.

Last time you shipped to me (Toronto, ON) it took 2 weeks.
Usual time for Priority Mail from US to Canada is 2-3 weeks depend on where it shipped from in US and where it is shipped to in Canada.

Alex is correct but I've also seen things arrive in a little as 7 days. I think customs gets back logged and it gets harder closer to Christmas. Will post when I get the kit and thanks for the tracking info.

Best,

John
