Location
windy wyoming
saturday dec 2 at jeffco fairgrounds (not jeffco stadiums)

the 4x4 assoc has had the largest one day drive in denver for the last two years, let's not stop now! show those harley guys and the bronco wives that they ain't got nothing on us! one new toy, unwrapped gets you a crappy hot dog, chips, cookies, a soda, and comraderie with a bunch of other 4x4 folks.

note: this year the state raffle vehicle will not be raffled at the denver drive, it is being raffled at the colorado springs drive, also on the same day...but you don't want to watch someone win a heep anyway :D

pm me if you need locations and times for the caravans.

As long as I get my axles back together, I'll be there.

better get hopping...next saturday am.

btw, watch stabbing them by hand...i can tell you how much it hurts to get your hand wedged between a diff and the floor :flipoff2:

Me and at least one daughterofromer will be there, maybe both. We are planning on meeting the Hulk at Home Depot and caravaning out.

the caravan's are slow going, but cool if you haven't done it before. jeffco cops will be directing traffic cause the caravan's are long enough to cause some serious backups...that's why we don't have it in aurora anymore...we caused way to many traffic jams:grinpimp:

almost ready to head off. just threw my multiple layers of clothes in the dryer to warm them up (48 degrees in the bedroom makes for mighty cold clothes). snowing outside means it's gonna be a chilly mornin'. see y'all there.

due to snow and blowing snow, the marines have cancelled the chinook (something about not being able to see he copter from the hanger) and santa had to ride in on a 7 ton.

Come on down and meet Ige Ige and daughterofromer)

thanks to everyone that came out and donated toys to the event. last i saw 2 of the 2 1/2 tons were full and the other was pretty close to full!

great turnout again even though the weather (as usual) wasn't cooperative. some folks even got time to play on the ramp and the teeter totter. the kids loved the rock wall and ball toss. and this year, we didn't run out of food .

best turnout by rising sun in the four years the event's been held, kudos to rising sun for helping out the rugra....kids

shelley surface (pres of the assoc) just called to tell me she just spoke with an extremely appreciative man from newport beach, california who was the winner of the 2006 raffle jeep. ironically, he's a member of a scrambler club in california.

meantime, here are pics from the caravan. and the vehicle that was just raffled off.
