See there is always someone who has to make it a pissing competition and turn it personal. I have no interest in arguing with some guy / gal I have never met about who has bought the most products to market, then again you have over 20k post on the INTERNET and work on your very own table ... so I probably can't compete with that level of awesomeness.

As for the Original thread about the rear Bumper I think you will find that Delta and his supporters explaining the position in respectful and sensible way has added further credibility to the process and I look forward to seeing his price point and hopefully hanging one on the back of my 80.

I hope the price point will meet your needs as well! I think it (the bumper itself) would meet your needs quite well.

PS, there is more than one of us here at Delta, just in case you ever meet any of us at an event or something. I (Dave) am the one on here though.

I appreciate your absolutely douche bag response to a point I was trying to make about the fact that had I NOT been so active on this site for so long I would NEVER would have had the built-in trust to start my business. But cheers to you anyway.

I think people might be coming down on you a little because it seemed like you still didn’t believe us, essentially implying we were lying. If that wasn’t the case then cool (and either way, fine) but I think you can see how your other posts kinda sounded that way which generally will get people riled up.

And yeah, I guess we did take a flyer on a pretty pricey item but it wasn’t like it was the first thing Delta ever made. They’ve got other products out there people seem to be happy with. Plus their website and my communication before the purchase was totally professional so I didn’t feel like it was a big gamble or anything.

I did a similar thing getting my front bumper from Rich Costa too. Random dude posts beautiful bumper and pics of his amazing fabrication skills, a few chats on the phone and I ordered his equally pricey front bumper. That thing is equally badass (and I swear Rich if you’re reading this I’m going to review yours too I just keep fiddling with the winch and lights and want it perfect first!).

They were both basically exactly what I wanted for my rig, just got lucky I guess that they matched my expectations.

Shopping for rear bumper...prefer two tires in rear, however I am unsure if the lights in rear are visible...I do not want to take traffic tickets....your thoughts or experiences....
Second choice would be Slee Bumper but that would be a compromise since I want two tire carriers###

Highly unlikely (I.E., no). All that does is keep us from selling bumpers for longer. There will be some kind of small Mud discount though.

That was almost 3 years ago. Price of material has skyrocketed since then and we are about to adjust prices across the board. Can't even give shops an installer discount any more on bumpers unfortunately. There was a discount based on the number of accessories you got, but that was too confusing for most people and we had to drop that program a while ago. Things are only getting more expensive these days.

If I raised the price enough to offer discounts again, y'all would be pretty unimpressed, and with the discount, they would still be more than current price.

Surely you of all people should now the internt lives for ever and old posts come back to haunt people.

On the flip side it also shows that everyone looking to buy a product starts with typing it into google with review after it which is what bought me here. Of course all review googles are followed by discount googles .

I recently ordered the DeltaVS rear and am considering the slee hitch.

Did you have to cut/drill the dvs bumper, or did the slee bolt spacing match up?

I realize cross member cutting is required.

Thanks! I'm super digging the setup as well and the @Delta VS gear.

The hitch is super easy to install and the delta vehicle systems bumper already has a hole for it. You're actually cutting the plate behind it between the 4 factory bolt holes.
