Delta/slee rear bumper crossmember question (1 Viewer)

Evening mud!

I no longer have my rear crossmember and I am considering either a delta or slee rear bumper. Can anyone give me some feed back on install without the factory crossmember? If it’s required etc?

I had the same question so I reached out to Delta and was told that the rear crossmember was needed in order to slide the bumper onto. Both Delta and Slee post their instructions online and you can see that the crossmember is needed. I've done a few searches and there are a few threads with people that have welded the crossmember back on which is what I'm considering.

Our bumper will certainly work much better with the cross member in place. It bolts to/with the four hitch mount holes.
