Any experts out there (POSER!!!?) able to tell me which terminals to I'll need and which crimping tool as well? I gots the wire handled.

I want to order the right crap once and then make this sucker. After that you guys can buy mine!
Hey Chris if you read this just PM me with what you used.

I do have time on my hands...............

I've used Delphi Packard Electric P/N 12124179 when I replace terminals for wiring. This terminal is used for cable range 0.8mm2 to 0.35mm2 (18ga to 22ga). It's actually an AMP terminal, but I found it when I used some high current ISO relays. The AMP reference part number is 60413-1. The terminal is tin plated copper and is easy to crimp.

P/N 12015898 is used for cable sizes 0.8mm2 to 2.0mm2 (18ga to 14 ga).

You can see a drawing by going to www.powerandsignal.com and searching the part number.

For the crimp tool, I have used a Packard tool (very expensive) and a Molex crimp tool (also expensive), but these are well worth the investment if you're going to do a lot of crimping. They will save you time and insure good accurate crimps. I've never purchased these tools, but I imagine that you can search for "packard crimp tool" and find several sources.

It is suggested that you solder your hand crimps.

Good luck...

Alex e, I take it you have seen Chris's set up? Do me a favor if you would. Save the reciepts and invoices, Just wondering how much it will cost to do the whole harness. weather proof and all. If the harness isnt that hard to build and I have a parts list. Thats all I would need.
