Richloam Saturday at 9:00 am at the fish hatchery meeting spot?

Clarification: you mean at the "info post" on the road that goes to the fish hatchery, right?

That'd be the SE corner of N Grade Road and 471 for those who haven't been there and need GPS coordinates.

By the way: I think we should all plan for a trail lunch. If you don't have the facility to bring food, let me know ASAP and I'll help you work something out. There's some nice spots to kick back and eat in Richloam.

Don't forget your bug spray, too...

bug spray is a must. When we were there after we went to hard rock you couldn't roll down the windows or they'd carry you off. I hope its not as bad this time.

You guys have fun, I gotta go see my new nephew and be with my lady while she is in town. have fun getting dirty!

May I kindly request my mosquito tapanade on lightly toasted brioche with a slight brushing of grey poupon which I shall pass from my motor coach with dignity not to mention the most expected and anticipated shot of Wild Turkey so that I may propose a toast to master distiller Jimmy "The Muscle" Russell who made the sheet! :skull:

I'm tired of my truck dying every time I dive off in a hole and I'm sure this trip is gonna be really wet so I got creative with what I had lying around. I used a latex mechanics glove with two finger tips cut off I fed the coil wires through the holes ,dielectric greased the connections and where it fed through the holes, zip tied the holes shut and stretched the glove over the coil.

The glove wouldn't fit over the whole distributor so I dielectric greased all the connections and used one of my kids floating rafts as a wrap to at least keep some of the water out.

Does any one have any other suggestions.

Run breather lines for the distrutor, the innards will corrode if they can't breathe

If you want to swing by my place and see how I did mine, you are welcome to

I have a better idea. Why don't you bring your truck out to Richloam tomorrow AM so we can ALL see?!?!

:D

That is the ultimate plan this was just a thrown together plan for the swamp tomorrow. I do plan on taking it all off as soon as I get home. I would like to see your set up one of these days soon. Justin and I are going to do the breather setup so I'll have him call you to see when would be good to come by.

I am getting the impression that Richloam isn't very family friendly. Should I just make this a solo mission?

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

Family friendly? Could be. WE'RE friendly, but it is a swamp. You will be, at times, surrounded by stinky water and bugs. Sometimes wild animals, including gators.

While I wouldn't say leave anyone at home, they certainly need to know what the environment is like.

Bad 80 drive your Suzuki! It's OK on this run. We need you on this trail ride because you have all the GPS coordinates for the WMA. No:crybaby:
Hey Richie! My Samurai is having T-case problems too :bang::bang:, I got the 6.5:1 gears for it and they are making noise with only 100 miles on them. The T-case is apart and gears are on their way to the manufacturer so they can send me new ones. If you want I can send you all the gps coordinates and tracks so you guys can use.

By the way, Danny's avatar picture is one I took when we were out there in November. That's when the water was kinda low :)

We really need to try to do a tech session for the 80 transfer case seals. Mine and justins are leaking from the front seal and yours is the rear.:wrench::wrench:

CB 4 tomorrow. Cruise Orlando have yours on for a wake up call. LC60 and I are meeting in Winter Garden around 7:20 and we'll expect to meet you in Clermont around 7:40 if your not ahead of us. Anyone else the Racetrack near Hwy 50/Turnpike/and 429. 7:20 departure from the Racetrack.

I'll have it on.

I might be a little ahead of you - I'm going to get there a little early to re-arrange some crap in the back of the truck (drop spare, tie down box, etc). I don't feel like doing it now!

I also have backroads I can take from my house, but it does mean I have to cut thru Richloam's east side which will slow me down... so I'll probably just ride 50 to 471.

I was hoping we could meet up and take 565 south from Mascotte to Center Grade and Center Grade over to 471 then up to North Grade and the meeting spot. I'm thinking it should be drier on the southern side right now and that would give us a chance to see how much water is lying around. You'll have plenty of time to "make ready" and the check station. What do you think of that?

Going to be a bit "damp" out there I presume? Ya'll drive safe and watch out for mosquitos (the west nile virus ones anyway).
