Carter, If you're thinking of a 40, I know of one that will eventually be going up for sale. Probably later in the year. A friend has a really nice original unmolested garage kept low mileage 1978 that he'll eventually end up selling.
Just something to keep in mind.

I am looking for a 40, but like I said at the moment I don't have a place to put it. I'll have to put a lift into my garage (I have 17' ceilings in my garage!).

Funny thing is, I have another friend who wants to sell me a lift. I have a feeling it's going to take a few 'good deals' to make this one pass!

Of course, then I'll want a big truck to tow my toys as well. And a trailer. And...

But yes, keep me in mind. If the right deal strikes and timing is right, it might all work out.

This guys apparently used this as a 'beach buggy' taking it down to Amilia Island or whatnot from time to time.

Curiously, it does have a temp tag on it - but he claims $5500 invested, and that's what he wants out at a minimum. He's had multiple $5k offers apparently.

I would do this, but my girlfriend is in town for the weekend, though I'll be free after lunch on Labor Day itself. We can install my snorkel...or do my front axle service I suppose though I don't have the parts.

If you need some place to keep one, I might be able to oblige though will be outside uncovered but on a concrete driveway. I'll drive it around my neighborhood's circular main drag to keep the gaskets oiled and look awesome.

Also, there is an easy way to check for bondo. bring a magnet. bam. done.
