I have the H20 winch so it would be a pain to run a new wire into the control box and keep the seals integrity. I may just have to buy another controler and lop off the switch for the connector.

In my head, I'm seeing you put a new water proof grommet in the box. You can get them for cheap at Skycraft.

Then run the cable thru that, solder it up and into the cab.

At least that's what it looks like in my head right now!!

I m always looking for an excuse to go to skycraft, that seems like a good idea

Lots of the 80 crowd use the power antenna switch.

You can also get the cable from Lowe's or Home Depot . I think Radio Shack will have it also .

Off the subject here , but has everyone heard from Jerry ?

OH Boy , THE CAVEMAN is back .

Austin?

If you want to buy me new ones I'll trade you my OEM's!

Not a problem Austin...I knew you would appreciate my generosity. You might want to check with "creepin death", Dennis in Wildwood. He has a lot of parts.

Archie you need to keep all your parts . You're getting older never know when you might need something .

Man at really suck's . I have found if you turn the radio up louder than you want hear the knock .

Are you pulling the engine or can you drop the oil pan ?
Already pulled the pan, checked the bearings, crank and clearances. plastigauged everything.
started it. Still knocked.
Pulled the tranny out. Checked flywheel bolts.
Started it w/o tranny. Still knocked.
Engine came out.
I disassembled it to bare block. Couldn't find a thing wrong!!

You find the cable yet ?

You know if I have thought I should have called you before I got rid of my FJC . We could have swapped everything over to your FJC . :bang::bang:
