Deka Intimidator Battery

East Penn Deka recently released their new Deka Intimidator battery. From the spec sheet, it looks like a well made AGM battery that delivered similar performance to the D34 Optima Yellow Top, at a lower price.

Anyone with experience with Deka batteries? My only experience with them has been with the Westco battery (made by Deka). The Westco battery was flacky, and would not start the car if it sat for more than a week. Since Westco refused to acknowledge the problem, I'm stuck with a mediocre battery.

I just replaced my battery before Thanksgiviing and saw the Deka on Ebay but couldn't find out much about it. I ended up getting an Exide Orbidtal 34XCD. I had read som good things about Exide Orbitals on this board and in a couple of reviews. I bought it online from here http://store.yahoo.com/joeztools/exorbat.html and they arranged for me to pick it up at my local Exide distributor the same day. I did not have to pay shipping or tax or the state disposal fee.
