Degree of camber/ front wheels/ 60 cruiser

Here is another important question against my new cruiser.
I have heard that different 4X4 vehicles have different degree of camber settings. After checking it today, the allignment man told me that mine (FJ 62) has got +2 degree camber, means it is out from top by 2 degrees on both front tyres. He said it should have been +1. Is he right? If not, how it can be corrected.
 
Camber cannot be adjusted. I do not know what the spec is but if your truck is out of camber spec then either your trunion bearings need to be replaced or your housing is bent.

just out of curiosity, what did your "alignment man" suggest?
 
Does the truck see enough hard-surface driving that the tires are being eaten up? I expect you are spending a majority of time on dirt roads, yes?
 
I have purchased it some 15 days back. I only want to know that is a +2 degree camber ok in these cruiseres or that needs to be corrected?????
 
...and I want to know what your expert said so I can determine if he knows what he's talking about.

If he did not point out to you the two points mentioned above I would seriously doubt he knows what he's doing in the first place.
 
Do you mean caster?
 
No its not caster. While standing straight, the wheels from the top are slightly outside by +2 degrees. Its camber i believe.
 
If it's camber, then see my post above. If it is out of spec then you need to fix it.

stock 60 series caster it's around 2.34 degrees ( positive ) never it's perfect but should be close .. and more bigger tires more caster I recomend ..
 
High camber isn't really a bad thing. If a rig gets beat to death, it usually has low camber from the axle housing bending a small amount over time. You are now free to go thrash your rig.
