I will not be making this event but would like an officer to swing by and touch base with janet at arrowhead about the upcoming weeks work weekends. Looks like its going to be a cold one, enjoy any snow that falls and have a safe ride.

Sorry guys, but as luck would have it, it decides to rain when I want to wheel. Open 40 and high of 46 w/ high prob of rain = stay home and get some other stuff done. Have fun, take and POST photos!!!

Sorry you can't make it. When did you sell the 80? ;)

Will try to take some pics.

i will be there for a while. See you guys tomorrow.

Where is everyone. Two of us from lowcountry at group camp c and a dozen land rover guys in site a. They asked if the lc guys were scared of cold... we got fire, beer, apple pie. Hopefully someone shows at 8:30am hahaha. Chance of snow sat night so bring wood .... on droid so cant check much

Had to work too long today so I'll see everybody in the morning. And as for the rover guys, they have to give themselves enough time to make repairs before hittin the trail.

Yeah, Clint and I will be leaving tomorrow morning. I'll be staying the night, and will grab some firewood. This week was busy, so I didn't have a chance to pack stuff up until just now...

haha Wheres yo jeep ?!? classic, and then they turned around and then the second of 3 broke on the ledge.

Had fun playing in the snow guys. Hope you that stayed keep warm by the fire (or the pie)

I had a lot of fun today despite my close call with the Tundra. Thanks for those of you that got out to help and advise and to Mike for pulling me out of there.

Thanks to Josh and Huck for letting Kate (my 6-year-old) and I ride along on Daniel. My wife watched the video posted above and was in awe. While I've shown her pictures before, the video gave her a much better perspective of what these things are capable of and what the trails are like. The look on her face was very similar to that of the Jeep guys that watched on Daniel today.

I only took pics on Daniel and could only get one of Brock going up the ledge in the Lexus as he went up it way too fast (see the video Josh posted for proof).

A few good pics and some out of focus pics are on Photobucket HERE, My favorite three are below. Note the one of Mike is rotated to show what it feels like going up in an open/open 62. :) In the third photo you can kind of tell just how heavy the snow was coming down.

Kate :princess: passed out on the drive home as expected but says she had a great time. Thanks again to everyone for helping make these events family friendly.

It has gotten a bit nastier. First time through Daniel I went through the off camber wedge and got my mirror and door a bit so I wont be going through there any more. The ledges have each eroded a bit with the first getting harder and the second getting easier. Tree is about the same, still pucker factor but avoidable. I bet if Brock runs the heat for a day or so he can get the crease out of his seat :D The climb has gotten way more funnerer. Pesky trees gone and more exposed rocks but still very doable.

ONSC is getting quick with the trail fixes! In under 15 minutes we fixed a window and a power steering issues. Thanks to Quick Clint and his magic 500* duct tape (that also survives 30*) I didnt have to join the ranks of the frigid buggy guys. I dont know what mike had to deal with (hope you got home safe) but I heard something about icicles and bubble gum and we were rolling and out of the heaviest of the snow.

And x2 on what David said, even with no contributions other than the brown dog, the family friendly nature of the club really sets it apart.
