A colleague of mine recently purchased a well maintained 2008 cruiser with 126k. All records, including recent 125k service.
Today, he noticed a clunk / thud from the rear. I owned a 100 series with the same issue. After greasing the s**t out of the front and rear slip joints, no more clunk. Common problem on hundy's - I'm sure some of you are familiar.
Is this thunk / thud common on 200 series (a la 100 series)?
Are there any known rear differential failures?
