i agree that this lx seems to have issues. but nothing that can not be fixed. and that's the reason for the diy forums.
i'll keep fixing the issues. and i appreciate everyone's input.
thnx.

I think you should call the Toyota/Lexus headquarters and report the dealer and get that idioit manaager fired! I just got a new job at Lexus and Im the head manager in the service dept. so if anything happens to a customers car, I hear it all. What I simply do is get the problem fixed to make the customer happy then go consult with the tech who worked on the car with the prob. Its that simple. I dont know why people have to be such dicks sometimes even when it is their fault?????????

:) I am glad to know there are nice managers in the lexus service departments.
my intentions are not to give anyone a hard time or to whine about it here on the forum either. just wanted to see what could be done in an instance like this and based upon several other members I have logged a call to lexus corp.
on the same note, a wood panel does not equate the lx being a lemon and i certainly don't want to part with a car based upon a wood panel, or the steering wheel/climate control issues.
that's why we have DIY'ers and that's the fun of self maintenance.

this thread is worthless without pictures.

how about it?
