So was this thread really legit? If this thread was a joke to make me go out, unhook my battery and try to unlock/lock my doors with the key, it certainly worked. (i actually did it while i was doing some welding on the truck so i took advantage of the opportunity) BTW... Key works.
you guys are so lucky that it would look like a conflict of interest if I deleted all the non-tech chat posts here since they are talking about me. TM would probably do it normally except he must be enjoying those... 
Plus the other wagging gals don't have the twinkle in the eye that means something special to those of us with some experience of the mile-high club...

Ok, I thought it was the real deal when the OP couldn't open the door. Now I realize I mis-observed what mine was doing, and I bet the OP tried the key and felt like a fool to. Oh well.
No joke, no trick. It should be a mechanical lock/unlock with a key in any key hole, but will only unlock just that door/hatch.

The rear hatch has the latch and the tailgate has the keyhole. No physical connection. 100 TD once pointed out, if some of your cargo falls against and "locks" the inside lock/handle, you won't be able to unlock from the outside.r2m said:
