Looking for a set of 2 functionally good front OEM AHC shocks/rams (I believe the part number is 48510-69127) for my 07/99 LX 470. Just ordered new bushings and consumables and it would be great to be able to prepare a refreshed set of front shocks so that I can just swap the rebuilt assembly in instead of having to worry about pressing the bushings in etc in the middle of the AHC refresh.

I'm doing one in a short while. I can send you the whole setup if you'd like. Good to have some spares on hand if you want to keep running the OEM setup. This is going to be from a 1998 LX470. PM me if interested and I'll send you contact info and pictures.

Make sure you locate the correct units. '99's are split from early and late production. The late '99 will use a shock for the '00-'07 which is different than the '98 and early'99. The hydraulic fittings are a different size.

Specifically with respect to the shock fitment, early production is considered '98 to 03/99.

Good call, I was going to check my VIN on Partsouq to be sure.

I have a late 99 (07/99) so I’m going to need the later shocks.

Yeah thought I'd mention it since I came to the classies for the same reasons. I am going to be in need of some front shocks since I discovered the upper mount/double-d shaft is severely corroded.

I have an early '99 and finding clean used early units is difficult. Lots of laters for sale, and super clean ones too. Would require me to swap out the hydraulic lines which are fetching more $$$ than the shocks themselves.

Look on Ebay. I found a lot of rust free late shafts for reasonable prices, and usually included all the cushion retaining plates too.

Seems like you should reach out to @BreckenridgeCruiser above...

Ebay has some good ones but it's likely going to come out to $300 for used pair, at that price it might be worth just reassembling my existing ones.
