dazed and cunfuzed"overdrive on my fj60"

i have an overdrive bolted to my tranny in my 87 fj60 it has its own shifter has any1 seen this b4 and has any1 had problems with it knocking itself out of gear when letting off the gas or just falling out of gear maybe there is an adjustment or something i can do so it it sticks better???????

prolly a Fairly overdrive, which I think is similar to the old Warn OD(or Saturn)

I have heard of it happenning but no idea why. Might look at the linkage first. Post on the Land Rover forums as many older Rovers had the boxes.
