Know how I know you guys are lame?

You know how we know you're lame? You're posting on a web forum to brag about how great the weather is- instead of shutting off the goddamm 'puter and enjoying the fuc*ing weather!

We finally got a little rain today. We got to the top of the mountain, Bald Knob, and Darrell checked his web phone for the weather and saw a major front coming through! We just got off of the trail and headed to camp when the rain started. We were going to pack anyway so it wasn't that big of a deal. We are sitting in a McDonald's right now getting ready to go to Flat Nasty! There is still a front coming through, but it's all part of the adventure!

Woody met up with us Sunday and wheeled for a couple of days. He is heading back home now. Washita has definitely moved up a bunch of notches after this trip. We weren't able to see much of the park last year, but we covered most of the hard and moderate this year and were definitely impressed. Very reminiscent of Tellico with the rock climbs and wicked ascents and descents.

I had a great time wheeling with you guys on Sunday. What a great park, can't wait to go back.

Here are a few pics.

What a great week!!

I just pulled in a couple hours ago, and I have to agree it was a great week, lots of fun and great wheeling.

But, what happened to Ron?

DND, no need for the assenighn comments... Do we invade your subaru forums even though we don't own one?!?!

I really hope Ron is doing good. Everyone we party/wheel with is like family, and I only hope for the best.

I had an excellent time with all of you, and can't wait till next time. Good times!

subaru???? what is this subaru you speak of??? I had a subaru like last year. But is was a nice try at trying to be funny:flipoff2:

From the post it seemed like ron might have gotten lost. He has a habit of turning the opposite direction that you tell him. Since he is the older one in the group I made a reference to the Great Outdoors. So I will be the third one to ask..........

What happened to Ron?

I spoke with Ron yseterday and he is doing a lot better. He should be released Monday. He had internal bleeding and had a mild heart attack, but he is on the mend now with no long term issues. For all who weren't there he suffered a severe case of vertigo and started vomiting blood and had to be transported to St Louis by ambulance. Paige is driving his rig back for him and we will be starting the trip home in a few.

WOW!!!! pretty serious. If someone should happen to talk to him. If someone should happen to see this before they leave, tell Ron I wish him the best to a full and healthy recovery.

Holy s***, when did that happen? Glad to hear that he will be out of the hospital soon, and that he is doing alright.

He was feeling bad thursday, turned for the worse thursday night and went to the hospital friday morning.

Damn, and i figured he was just seeking shade in the camper right before i left due to the heat, didn't realize that he was feeling bad.

I truly hope everything is alright and wish you a quick recovery Ron.

Here's to a speedy return Ron
