New tow rig has bed mat installed, but cap will have to wait until funds recover or the Dodge sells. New Prodigy controller installed. Cobra 25 on custom mount installed with new Wilson Mag-mount antennea. I'm about ready to proclaim the tow rig ready. Need to burn some more hillbilly music CDs then we should be good.

Trailer has new shackles, bolts and bushings.

New run-over-proof grill purchased. I think I'll take the sleeping bag up to the laundromat this afternoon. It's a bit funky from last year. New cooler purchased after my kids "lost" the last one. Tent is ready to go. Battery powered fan ready. A few more things and the camping materials will be ready.

RC truck ready to go. Back up RC truck is still waiting on parts, but hopefully will be working by Friday.

There's something else I should be getting ready, but I just can't think of what else might be important.

margariterator?

front hub studs?

That was it. Almost forgot.

Came in this morning. 6 more Toyota studs and cone washers. Being installed tomorrow in my driveway, hopefully right on the trailer.

$10 says you chop the railings off the trailer.

And bird s*** decal.

I hope you won't charge to much for the killer bird s*** decal, I've been looking for one of those. Like I don't get s*** on enough at work.
It looks as though I may need a few more parts than just the frame. I'll set a goal of getting that in before the Chicago Jambo.

Coil spacers are installed, new shocks will be tommorrow, still struggling to get the OBA installed and plumbed, i may just run it without a tank and not be able to run air tools for the trip. Charger is here for the RC crawler, tent is repaired, most camping stuff is figured out, i think im going to be ready by friday night.

Any word on if Marty Feldman is going?

yes Marty Feldman is coming

And a new look to. :bounce:

I got a call from Richard Tues. night and he IS coming along for this trip. WE will be at Bill's Sat. and follow them down from there.

Mark

scott says he will try to meet up with us for a few days...

I'm ready. 4 hours till I get on the road!

I'm about ready. I was about ready to call it quits yesterday while I was sitting in the sun drilling out hub studs. I figured I could have all the fun I was going to have right there in my driveway.

I weighed the pig and trailer yesterday. 6920#. I glad I didn't skimp too much on the tow rig. I'm thinking Clint's rig can't weigh a whole lot less. I suppose 5000# limit on the FJC is just a suggestion.
