anyone tried to pull out the dashboard pad or shell? i wanted to find the rattle and check on for lose/missing screws

faq section has one about the center cluster, if thats what you mean

You can see a good bit of the dash by looking underneath the panels or removing the radio/center console. I would start tightening what you can see, then remove smaller panels and then go to the larger ones.

Keep you from doing 3 days of work for a screw that is under the cup holder and a 5 minute job.

I've got an OEM Toyota noise kit, has all sorts of felts, foams n what not to place on panels to quiet it down.

I just did a quick search and I'm also looking to eliminate an annoying front desk bell noise coming from the drivers side of the dashboard.
I think I figured out that the noise is being made by a metal plate that is located right behind the bottom plastic portion under the steering wheel column.
Can any one advise how can I remove this panel in order to take a better look and find ways to eliminate that noise. I want to avoid breaking any clips or anything else.
I have added a photo of the section I want to remove.

First remove the black trim over the steering wheel. There's a screw on the bottom left by the fuel door/hood release. Pull the weather seal off the truck slightly and then the rest is all clips/guides.

What does the button with all the caution markings around it do? It looks fun to push.

Passenger seat eject of course. There's no need to ask.

Thank you for the instructions. I will make it my mission today.
The red button is the tear gas system actuator. The security key next to it is the safety.

As much as I wish I could rig my truck for offloading this more like Bond's offload vehicle. I have a tread on my truck search for armored land cruiser in the forum.

Thanks again
