dashboard rattle ! (1 Viewer)

was test driving a '99. Very noticeable rattle/noise apparently on the PS of the dash. Kinda mix between a creaking of plastic and a definite rattle as in an object moving around and banging on something (I am guessing all this remember). Seems like it was coming from under the top skin of the dash right around where the PS airbag is located, maybe in front of it.

Any well-known issue with this?

Is it easy to get under there and take the dash out? Issues with disarming bag?

Services related to airbags should not be attempted without thorough knowledge of the system and a factory service manual in hand. Expensive damage and serious injury can result if you make a mistake.
