Anyone else had this issue?

Get in my 2011 460 to run an errand and fuel range says 93 miles to E (it isn’t my daily driver so I don’t keep up with where the fuel level is). Cool, so I’ll get gas in the morning. Get about 3 miles down the road and I notice that my fuel light has come on and the gauge is an 1/8 of a tank less than where it was (digital range still read 91 miles). Then my dash lighting goes to full brightness suddenly. I turn it back down and notice the gas gauge is continuing to visibly drop and is now at E. I quickly pull into a gas station and as soon as I do, my dash lights completely shut off. I turn the car off and fill it up (22.7 gallons so it was pretty low). I start it up and everything is back to normal, no check engine lights or battery lights or anything.

Then about 10 minutes into the drive after getting gas the dash backlights go completely off and the display goes into night mode. It remained this way for the rest of my 5 minute drive.

I attached a photo of my dash after parking, but the vehicle is still running.

I’m completely stumped and I have a 5 hour drive I’m supposed to go on tomorrow any help would be appreciated!

Terminal connections secure on battery?

Do you have a code reader? I’d be seeing if I could pull something to give some pointers,

Has vehicle ever had any water leaks around dash area?

I’m gonna check both of those but it’s storming here now unfortunately.

I’ve never seen any water come in around the dash myself and have had it for 4 months

If you need to pull the dash to check connections, take a look at this thread for manuals:
GX 460 Manuals

My suspicion is this is something beyond loose cluster connection though. If it is this will be the first 460 with that issue I can recall.
