2001 LX40 (100 Series LandCruiser) w/182k miles. Clean title. Lots of added maintenance, minor interior upgrades and functional AHC system. I purchased this from local dealer in Addison, TX. This Cruiser spent all of its years in California prior to arriving in Texas. Major services done at David Blanco’s shop in Addison TX.

* Zero Rust on the under carriage
* Zero Rust in the common problem areas (tailgate/windshield channels)
* Zero Rust.

Thank you in advanced for checking it out. Message for more details on this cruiser. Have all the documentation saved in folder and will include it. Have tons more photos. DM your email/phone and I will send them.

In the short time span of ownership the following has been done:

6/24:
New battery A/C Delco
New AHC globes and fluid flush service
Oil change and fluids topped
New CV axles on both side
New valve cover gaskets
Timing Belt/Water Pump and tensioner done at 180k, last changed by Lexus Dealer in California at 100k.
Power steering lines/hoses replaced due to leak. Flush at time of service.
New hood struts, new tailgate lift arms
New Denso Cabin and KN engine air filters.
Removed side steps but still have them in storage (insta-lift effect)
All 4 new door actuators, not just the small motors. Door panels and trim are in great condition for vehicle of this age
High, low and day time running bulbs replaced
Brand new WeatherTech mats, but not impressed. Looking for alternatives
Tow hitch mount and lock added

7/24:
New LED backup lights
New OE Radiator installed, original was pressure tested at time of the Timing Belt however I could tell it had many years on it. Purchased replacement from ParkPlace Lexus
OE Heater Ts replaced at the time of Radiator install, parts from ParkPlace
Differential fluid front and back
Drive shaft and u-joints greased
OE Battery mount, from ParkPlace Lexus
Custom two tone, perforated “WheelSkin”. The original Lexus Wheel/Wood is cracked. Added neoprene cover, and wheel skin for aesthetics
New Lexus license plate holder in rear, Lexus vanity plate upfront

8/24:
Paint correction and detailing (Dallas Detailing and Buffing). Body is in good condition, some deep scratches but overall good condition for 2001
Differential bushings installed, kit from CruiserTeq
Spider Trax Wheel spacers, from CruiserTeq. Checked/Torqued a few times now b/c I’m crazy about that stuff
555 lower and SPC upper control arms, plus new frame bushing, new bolts with install. All parts sourced from CrusierTeq. I went with aftermarket SPC in case I want to remove the AHC in the future but for now its in great working condition. I do have the original upper and lower control arms. I plan to replace the ball joints and have as backups. Will include with vehicle.
AHC accumulator pressure, ride height and right to left level (torsion bars) calibration performed based on YotaMDs writeup on IH8MUD. Done after upper and lower control arms install
Front Lower Grille fascia replaced and painted to match. Ask for pics. The replacement was ordered from overseas and installed with new OE plastic clips.
Tire/Wheel Balance and rotation
Replaced front and rear wiper blades
New Windshield, with OE moldings and weatherstrip lining. Windshield was fine but noticed wind coming in at high speeds. Decided to reseal and add new windshield as a precaution.
Custom Cerullo Performance driver and passenger seat covers Color matched with the “Wheel Skin”. Includes head/arm rests. The back of these seat covers have black nylon with molly rings for after market gear

Planned:

Steering Rack bushings replaced with kit from CruiserTeq
Ohana Rig Supply bracket for aftermarket cams, navigation and/or other devices. Uses existing holes behind the head unit, no drilling into dash for this mod

Outstanding Punch List & Nice to Haves:
  • Brakes and Rotors are decent for now but I do plan on adding OE rotors, 4 corners & repack the front wheel bearings (both sides)
  • Front sway bar bushings with kit from CruiserTeq (probably the same time as brakes and rotors)
  • Roof rack end caps are cracked/weathered – in search of endcaps or possible new rhino cross bars.
  • External apple car play/Backup Car Cam (researching options at the moment, don’t want it tied into the new head unit b/c I want a solution to sync recordings via WiFi or MiniHD)
  • Hood – the hood needs to be repainted but lower priority as its purely cosmetic
  • Lastly, sunroof sealed off. Drain holes were cleaned prior to sealant. I have inspected the drain hoses on the A pillars for debris/cracks. Both are still pliable and in good condition. Sunroof shade fully operable. Sunroofs are overrated anyway.
Items of note:
  • Spark plugs/Coils – Looks to be done by dealer/PO
  • Common issue when the seal on the evaporator wears from age. Drain had a small clog, shop air fixed this and filter housing has been cleaned.
  • Rear spoiler intact, no rust and in one piece. Often these break right down the center and are often removed.
  • No longer required but did pass all Texas emission tests/inspection.
  • Electric side window vents operate and in good working condition
  • Side view mirrors, fold in function in good working condition
  • Tilt Steering Wheel in good working condition
  • Power seats, Drive and Passenger working
  • Front heated seats in working condition.
  • Original cup holder feature in center console in good condition
  • Radio mast, operates up/down
  • Driver and passenger dual sun visors work and in good condition.
  • Original jack and hardware included
  • Has aftermarket DVD but not operational. I do not plan on removing it
  • AC blows cold and certainly has been tested this summer season.
  • Original widow tint all around
  • All doors and locks work (new as pointed out above)
  • All windows, with exception of sunroof are in good working order
  • Original Lexus floor mats in storage
  • Original 3rd row in storage
  • All 4 chrome caps are included however two of them have chipped edges. They stay on and are fastened so more of a cosmetic issue
  • 265/75 16 In wheels and can go up to 285 with no mods however I like the look of the OE wheel and AT tire, especially pushed out a little with the spidertraxx
  • Outside moldings intact and not peeling away
  • Original Gold Lexus badging all around and in good condition

I am looking for a 200 Series, 2018+. In the unlikely event someone wants to trade plus cash on my end I am open to that as well. Thank you
