I know it's a little off putting, but the shop I bought it from confirmed sending unit is working as it should, so we believe it's just the gauge. I've put some miles on it since I've bought it and no issues so far.
 
Not too hard to hook up a mechanical pressure gauge and check. If it truly had zero oil pressure it wouldn't take long to see the results of that. Seems like a good price for a rust-free 1991-1992 with the MIGHTY 3FE. GLWS.
 
Has it been repainted? Any pictures of the birfs? Any other oil leaks to be concerned of? Lastly, is the AC R12 or R134a?
 
Looks like a nice original truck Too bad about the rear bump. This one looks like a great weekend country cruiser. New tires and a detail job would really make this one pop. Price is right.
