Daily driving the 40

Well it has been a few months now and I have been driving the 40 every day without any issues.
I have been doing a few things here and there to the 40 late at night but work is killing me right now. I have a few parts that I have been collecting that I will eventually install once I find the time.
I went for a run this morning and took a few pics so I figured I would post them up.

I dont really have build thread for my 40 so decided to update this thread.

I have been chipping away at making the 40 alot nicer. Since I moved out here to Florida I noticed the rain has been very harsh on the 40. I deployed and it sat for a few months so when I got back a few months ago I found a guy that was willing to help me out with the 40.
I had to replace the old holley on the SBC with a new carb and now it is running very nice.
I also have to replace a relay on my electric fan because it is not quite working properly.
While it was in the shop we went ahead and redesigned the old cage and built a family cage.

We already had the 40 apart so we decided to go ahead and do all the body work and fill a bunch of little holes and dents. I bought oem color paint and sprayed it as well as lined the tub with the color match stuff.

It has been a slow process since I have been in and out of the country a few times since I put it in the shop but it I finally have some progress pictures I thought you guys might enjoy.

Thanks guys. I will post up better pics once I get a chance. I'm actually in NC this week for work.

I wanted to stop by the red barn but not sure if I will get out of work early enough. Dont want to bother you too late.

Great work Del, and such quick turn around. Looking good brother!

Thanks Ramon,
I am not home much so my time to work on my 40 is very limited. I try to do as good work as I can with limited time and resources so I'm sure my work is nothing compared to some of the stuff I see on this website but at the end of the day I am usually satisfied. I will keep chipping at it as budget and time allows though.
