These are custom mud flaps that utilizes the OEM mud flap, trimmed down to something more reasonable.

The tools for the job were carbon cutting wheel for a dremel and/or 3" grinder.

I disconnected the OEM mud flaps and made some measurements. Being careful not to cut too much off in one try, I trimmed down the flap on each side one at a time. Then reinstalled the flaps. Took an hour or two and was very easy.

Nice!

So how many inches were taken off?

Any feedback on the amount of rocks they throw up vs. before?

(Ya, I know. Like you ever drive behind your own vehicle to test it out, huh? justaskin...)

RobRed should know how many rocks are kicked up after our next trip. It's planned for late October.

Somewhere about 6-7 inches off, I'd guess.

SmoothLC, how you liking the Revo's while out on the trail? What's the good and bad on these devils (I'm running the same tire and size as you)?

More of a OEM look, I don't like the 0% mudflap look. I don't think the back of these trucks sit up high enough to have a ton of debris fly up. But enough for people behind you in a construction zone too not tailgate you.

+5 for seeing more of the Duratracs, -5 for seeing more of the mall tires. I'm just sayin'. :)

I was just trying to spur up another tire thread.
