Hello,

I recently became the proud owner of an unmodified 2003 LC with 80K miles on it. Took me about 3 years to save money for it and 4 months to convince my neighbor to sell it to me :D

One thing I love/enjoy doing is having drinks while driving "coffee, juices that is, not , unless I'm camping :p" but the cupholders in the LC are rather useless. So I came up with this solution and it works perfectly for a cost less than the price of a Mcdonald's meal

I wonder what you guys came up with to solve this issue, keep cost in mind of course.

Not a bad solution, does it hold pens and paperclips too?:flipoff2::D

All mentioned along with the 64oz 7-11 Big Gulp cup :D

I tend to just use the drop down arm rest cup holders for coffee/ smaller drinks and use these for the large size Kleen Kanteen fits perfect.

do those taper towards the bottom? if so, are they attached somehow to the bottom of the console?
They do not. They just sit snugly in the cup holder space. It's more or less a perfect fit.

damn. I saw your post and ran to walmart at lunch. the ones I bought are tapered though. where did you get yours?
Staples is right. They're the black metallic mesh ones for a couple bucks each.
