I am looking into some diesel options for my 73 FJ40.
I have a couple of ideas about the 6at. Please correct me if I am wrong, and I may be.
-The AT has similar HP/Torque specs to the stock 2F
-It costs about half of what a 4BT costs
-Due to the injection design it is about 5 mpg less than a 4BT
-It uses a Chevy pattern on the rear for the BH
Here are a couple of questions:
What is the dry weight of a complete engine?
Measurements compared to a 2F?
Websites with more information on them?
Availability?
