Brice, after this trip in your 200 (dont try to fool yourself, you know down deep you will!) youll never bring the 3FE on a roadtrip again!

Murf,

You are assuming that my wife will let me drive her LC! I think I will have to pry her dead hands from the steering wheel one day. (Please don't take that the wrong way and call the authorities):skull:

I took this last week at 35th Ave and the 101, is this a members truck?

I was hoping to see big trout pictures from you after going to Canyon Creek:hmm:

We did catch one really big brown, but forgot the camera in the LC. It was 8" long and probably weight .5lbs. We didn't see another fish. We fished north of the outhouse, near the large downed tree. A buddy of mine fished south of the outhouse and did not see any fish. I do not think that Canyon Creek will be fishable much longer, there is just not enough water.

We did take my wife's LC up Mt. Ord and hiked to the ranger lookout. It was so windy up there the lookout was swaying. It was a white knuckle walk down the stairs!

On the trip, my wife informed me she has nicknamed her LC "Daisy". I cringed at first, but then she told me daisies were her mother's favorite flowers and her mother just passed away on New Year's Day. - Who am I to argue?

Newsflash: Last native trout fish caught and killed ... story at nine.

Found this 1970 SS park in a part of town I would question leaving my Land Cruiser unattended. Having been a collector of 70 BB for several years I hung around to watch it leave. The older owner did it Justis by giving lift to the front end on every gear change.

some old timers might remember Legend City http://legend-city.com/ . i was too young to remmeber going there but do remember the outside concert venue that was there after Legend City closed. Can anyone remember the name of the concert venue? Its on the tip of my tongue...

Compton Terrace?

Didn't Compton then move out to what was Firebird Raceway/Lake?

:clap:Yes, thx Brice that was the name....I think you're right where they moved.

Saw several concerts there: black n blue tour (black sabbath and blue oyster cult) also saw Santana and Grateful dead in one show, bunch others in my teens.

A friend of mine who lives in Tucson took pictures of this Bobcat lounging on his back porch. his backyard backs up to private, empty land so he gets critters all the time. LOoking quite relaxed ~

Found this on my Facebook feed, from one of my Zim friends.
~30 years old, ~14 feet?

Oh and the croc is 100 years old, 18.5 feet, >2200 lbs. ;)
Shot in the Umi River at Kariba (where I swam as a kid - back when this lizard was only 75 or so....)

If we could buy these 70 pick-ups in the US, I'd have one - just amazingly tough and no nonsense. Very popular on the game farms, with farmers and hunters.
