This SD song was a memory tool for the answer to one of the HAM test questions> for FM packet
Been stuck in my head on and off for a week now which is fine with me. Good tune
That's an oldie goldie for sure. Guessing CJ5. Top looks aftermarket. Back in the day Sears, Wards, and J C Whitney all sold hard tops for Jeeps and Cruisers. John![]()

Stopped by a sea of sheep today in Marana...
I was in the Kenworth hauling the flatbed over to pick up a large oak from another grower and had to set the air brakes and wait for 20 minutes for a sea of sheep (guessing 200 head) being moved from one field to another. The sea parted and flowed around my rig and under the trailer with the healers at the rear. Made my morning.
One of those cool moments when you don't have a camera.![]()
A sea of sheep are real fun until you're driving a "little" fast because you're on one of the Navajo Res roads in Arizona, you're also young and dumb and that oh so sweet Porsche 924 turbo whine is intoxicating, and you match revs and downshift for the corner... and there's a cute little Navajo kid and his sea of sheep crossing the road. Stand on the brakes and say a little prayer to Stuttgart as your Bridgestones leave expensive black marks on that old reservation road... and Navajo kid smiles as his in-not-a-single-bit-of-hurry sea of sheep walk down the road and finally across and to who knows where.
Yeah, fun those sheep were...
Not sure about the name of this dog but that is one hell of a birth mark

What happens when you pet the dog?
I remember back in the 80's when that would happen pretty often on Chandler Blvd aka Williamsfield Road. The Dobson Ranch hands would heard them sheep from pasture to pasture, blocking traffic forever. It was so common that when I would get to work late, my boss actually believed me when I told him I was held up by a bunch of sheep. JohnStopped by a sea of sheep today in Marana...
