I actually passed that Tuesday going the opposite direction. Really wanted to take a picture but I was driving and didn't want to become a statistic

I had a pair in the early 80's that had "Ford" on them. Wore out the soles in 2 years. Then I got a job at Johnston's Toyota and that was the end of that.

With those pictures I would say it's a 79 or 80. So was your friend driving the Jeep next to it or is that his troopy?

He said '80. The guy just bought it in Texas, originally from Australia. I pumped him with more questions and waiting to hear back.
He just bought a Duramax, suspect it is the crew cab in the last pic.
