My brother spotted this in Costa Rica last week. What can't a 40 do. Fj40 tow truck.

British Columbia is way out west. What a great looking 60, I spent more than a few nights at good ol' Dirt Bobs.

Good weather for artistic shots...

Cruises 85mph and seats 7 men? That's a stretch even in the Mad Men days!

My brother says he always drove 85 to 90 in his FJ40. I hit 85 in it now although it takes a while to get going that fast and any sizeable hill quickly drops the speed down to 40 MPH.

It is also possible to sit two per jump seat and three across the front. The four in the back need to be on good terms tho as their legs will be pretzeled together.

'Taint no lie . . .

Reminds me of a Car and Driver review I read a while ago. "The back seat may be small, but hey, as the driver, you don't have to sit back there".

Yesterday at dusk - you don't have to be out of town to get views like this~

Story on this please...

One of our members recently purchased a beautiful locked 40th anniversary and it had overheating problems that was suspicious. Upon digging in, it was found to have a crack in the head that was causing all the issues. (the first time I've seen - or heard of - a crack in a 1FZFE head) The head was able to be saved with the crack being welded and subsequent valve job done. This is in the process of getting resealed and reassembled. Tom the tech figured might as well make it look good while its out!
