Anyone goin? I have got family flying in that weekend so I can't use my "free entry" that I won on McGrew. Up for grabs.

I asked for Sunday off and was denied, plus I went back to a 5x8 schedule so I'd only have Friday and Sat off. Too far away for me to make it. :frown:

SK has to work that weekend so I'm out also :( Unless a group is going then I'll bring Becca, but it doesn't sound like that's the case.

I would love to.... but like my wife and new baby girl.

Thanks for the offer G.

Hey Jarod,
Are you passing thru medford? If so, can I tag along behind you. I'm not sure what kind of rig you have, but I have fj80 and I find it goes kind of slow up the hills, so I may end up being a drag if you have a more powerful rig.

Can I take it? I would love to have a trip with my kids before the weather gets too nasty, and they love trucks!

All yours man, I need to mail it or u gonna be in GP b4 then?

Cool, thanks buddy! PM sending shortly.

trip report.........sorta

my shotgunner and his kid rode along, both got carsick on the first stage, but we towed a FJ40 back to check in (shorted condenser?) and pooped around "the woods" for the morning. need to get up there and roll around a bit with my kids who are into roller-coaster trails, cause there are a lot of them.

Cascade Cruisers were more than accommodating to us: we showed up at the last minute for the poker run, and they got us set up with all the directions and stuff for the first leg, but, for naught it seems, see above...

not much else to report really; good to get up into the old 'hood, saw a handful of trucks and managed to run part of a trail without incident. :meh:

camera on breakdown mode, I'll try and get a couple but there was pretty slim pickings with our timing and "green" passengers. the first stop we had with other trucks around was also the first gravel intersection that took us back to camp, sick kids and '40 in tow. There were two other '40s, and a Wrangler, all three on mild lifts and ~33's. we did see a bobbed mini truck at the base camp with ~37's, SAS'd, hi-steer, etc... but he took off before we got checked in, and a couple more '40's doing the jumper cable shuffle on the road back in; one of them had a crate 350 and double cases.

imagine a primer black '40 being towed back to camp by my '80. :hillbilly: that's the picture I have that probably turned out.

too bad about my choice of co-pilots, remind me not to invite him and his kid along next time.

partly related to the CTW trip was my quick CB install into Sue's (skfj80) truck thursday; took maybe 20 minutes. I talked to her later that day and it was working on the 'slab, no report from her if she made it through the trails, I'm guessing the RTT was going to slow her down with it's size...
