82 degrees on Saturday!!! I wish I had left the top on, it's gonna be quite toasty inside. Called Gale's Creek Shell to make sure they would be open in time to sell me an Oregon ORV pass and she told me that she had just sold one to a guy from Canada (they open around 5:30am). I pretty stoked about my first (TLCA sanctioned) rally, my wife, well... you know how that goes:)

I didnt realize there was this thread on this event.

but i went to this event and it sure was FUN!!!!

anyone running a high steer setup PLEASE remember to re-torque and recheck your 4 studs on the knuckle... ;)

Right on

Great time!!!!! I bought on new yellow top this morning for my new winch:) Really had a great time watching and learning. Cascade Cruisers really put on a good rally and my wife is still talking about JT's boulder crawl. I put together an album from this weekend if you want a high resolution drop me a line. It was great meeting ya'll. I felt like a soldier fresh from combat driving back to Olympia in my muddy 40. I just wish I had some of Oregon Cruisers on the cb:steer:. Thanks again.

If you have any additional photos of me wheeling on Can Opener I would like to see them. Thanks!

Hell Yeah!

The winch was selling for under $300+tax at the Truckfest in Puyallup. After sinking $215 on a Optima yellow top to run the winch the base plate will have to wait, about $80 for my set up. I talked with Josh for a while today @ 4wheelparts about different applications (thanks).
I wish the weather had help up for Sunday. We had ran out of firewood and left after the raffle. Waking up in the rain is one thing but waking up in the rain without a cup of coffee is unthinkable:cheers:.
I told a bunch of my fellow letter carriers that I won a 8,000 lbs. winch in a raffle and they shrugged it off like it is no big deal. We'll see what they are saying when the snow starts falling and they are stuck in their driveways:doh:. Honestly I was so excited I never even saw the winning number I just knew that it fell between my first and last tickets:bounce2::bounce:.

My truck came home weighing 4400 lbs after stopping at Creeper Sleepers and loading up with Toyota parts... Had a blast, didn't break or dent anything!!!! Though I wish I'd have got a picture of me coming out the top of some of those muddy hill climbs... I know I had my sweet IFS front end off the ground at least once.... Hehe Here's my pics from the week end:
