I'm flying out from Kentucky tomorrow. Really looking forward to my first trip to the PNW. Mark Hawley said it was so cold there I'd get to see penguins. Never seen one outside a zoo before. Hope they're tasty.

This was my first crusin the woods, must say I had a great time. Trails were great and everyone was so nice. Thanks to all the Cascade Cruiser folk for putting on a great event. Thanks

Thanks for coming out! We had a blast and it was one of the smoothest events I can remember.

A teaser for those that missed it. This is from a Friday fun run on the Crusher trails. Crusher was selected by BFG as one of the national Outstanding Trails for 2007 (along with Rubicon, Tellico, Hell's Revenge, Black Bear Pass, etc..)

Those look like some rough trails. Nice pics.

The event trails aren't that bad- the trail above is definitely an exception. They are generally tight firebreak trails through the forest. Lots of positioning your nose, some rocky hill climbs, nice variety of forest through a coastal mountain rain forest.

Sorry I don't have more pics- they're tied up for Trails and I was manning a checkpoint during the event. If you go to www.cascadecruisers.com the pics on the front page are pretty representative of what you'd encounter in Tillamook State Forest OHV area.
