Thank you Rice!
If you think it will work, I will gladly accept. I do need recommendation on nut and bolt to use for install.

Hey! There's the almost welded on bar that scared the bajeezuz out of us.

It's yours man. As mentioned the capture nuts should already be inside the frame. You can't tell it in the picture but the bolt shown in the hook passes out the other side and is one of the 3 mounting holes that we believe will line up with your frame holes. When I get back home I will measure the thickness of the hook so you have an idea what to shop for.

Rice

EDIT: Home now. The hook is 1.7 inches thick. You wish to have bolts that are 2.5-3.0 inches long and that fit the threads on your frame. Just be sure whatever length you get the unthreaded portion of the bolt does not exceed 1.7".

I'm in!

I'll need to make sure the truck is okay to go by then.

I'm in. Already took off work. I'll have to wait for later for a full body count.
I don't have recovery hooks either--so that's fast tracked to resolve. Otherwise I'm good for the other required and I'll see what I can't get done that's recommended.

Perhaps a separate thread like "Passing club inspection" is in order. I think it also needs to be stressed that you do not need a rig that passes inspection to come to the event, just to be among the trail group.

Or that portion of the conversation could migrate over to "The wrenching thread" but I agree.

We are going to try to make it. Going to a different department in july. Will be given a new schedule for the rest of the year by then.

As for the truck will not pass inspection at the moment but I probably won't wheel anyways.

90% sure I will be there as I will be working in mint hill the 2 weeks prior to LR. Not sure if lil mushie, Mary, or the furry kids will join us. I will update in August as Mary's job is changing and may change plans. In regards to inspection, Sgt Pepper meets the first page of requirements and 75% of the second page (no winch nor CB). I doubt I will buy either before Logan's as I currently wait on the arrival of my 2nd bumper;)

I'm coming with at least 2 kids n the dog again this year. I seem to remember an online signup for LR but didn't see a link. Did I miss it?

Good question! Online registration is not open yet. I'll update the thread when it is.

I'm in the process of building out the registration page now. Trying to figure out how to roll t-shirts into the registration process :D

I'll be driving up to DC in a few weeks, solo. I've always wanted to visit Iron Pig, and I might just stop by!

Looking forward to seeing everyone again. I think we need to do this TWICE a year.

:)

While I won't be able to contribute as much as I did last year, I do plan on a few nice small morsels of Toyota OEM goodness.

PS: And an free rear output seal for Rice.
