The Prez and myself did a nice little run into Hill60 to fetch an F350 out of a hole tonight. Went pretty textbook I’d say...double winch and she popped right out.

The hole was deeper than the pics do it justice. Pics show the F350 out of the hole.

That truck looks beat to hell, frame twisted?

Nice work.

The last time I pulled someone out was last year. Some idiot got his van stuck in like 6 inches of snow, gave him a tug well more of a drag back on to the road.

Nice you guys were able to help out. Never ceases to amaze what people attempt without a properly setup truck, winch or help around.

By Prez do you mean Colin? I don't recognize the 60, but hard to tell by headlight.

I don’t have a pick because it was before cell phones... but I winched a 2wd Ford van out of a 4’ deep crevasse the owner attempted to traverse.

It was up Harbour View... the side shoot was an easy run in a 40. The 4’ deep washout was no match for a 40. Even with open diffs it would go in... nose down... all in... nose up... all out. A testimony of what incredible machines Toyota makes.

I suspect a 60 would have problems though... the tail end would still be up when the front would need to start climbing out. That said, with enough lift, and big enough tires, it’d be possible. ;)

Been more than a few times I have regretted helping..

Hah yeah years ago we had a decent snow and I happened to be out driving and came across these two guys in a s10 or something stuck in the ditch after they over cooked it playing in the snow. Gave them a tug out with my cruiser and sent them on their way while I wrapped my strap back up. Next corner on the same road I passed them again stuck in the ditch, I just kept on driving.

It was up Harbour View...

Speaking of unprepared yahoo’s , harbour view, shields and grassy lake was full of them, it was anarchy! It’s a nice hike into there now a lot quieter and less broken beer bottles.
